Peninsula SCORE's® mission is to assemble the resources of our region and the National SCORE®to assist in the formation, growth and success of the small business community on the Peninsula of Hampton Roads. Since 1965 the Peninsula SCORE® has accomplished this mission through FREE one-on-one counseling, our low cost workshops, seminars, and internet counseling.
Our Chapter assists small businesses in communities located both on the Peninsula and Middle Peninsula of Hampton Roads. We have 7 active volunteers who donate their time and expertise to help with small business formation, growth, and success in the Hampton Roads region. During our last fiscal year ending September 30, 2006, our Chapter counseled nearly 550 local small business entrepreneurs/owners and provided more than 1,400 hours of service to our local small business community.
Throughout the year Peninsula SCORE®offers several low-cost workshops and seminars on topics of interest to small business owners and entrepreneurs. Each of these is staffed and presented by our counselors and other regional professionals. The cost is minimal and discounts are available for multiple registrations from the same company.
The main office of the Peninsula SCORE® is co-located with the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce in the Hampton Roads Center - South Campus area of Hampton which is off of Magruder Blvd. between I-64 and Hampton Roads Center Parkway in Hampton, Virginia.
